It’s On!!

Quote of they day: "I want this story to continue. Or be reborn. In some -- ANY -- forum. I am, as you all know, in love." - Joss Whedon

Song of the day: Nothing but a choral of heavenly angels

State of mind: giddy

Date: 2/24/06

Well. I can’t believe I did it, but I did. The thing I have not been able to talk about because in my superstitious mind that would jinx it. I won’t say it is a done deal, but just about as done as done can be.
*drum roll*
I just got back from a meeting with the Executive Director of the Palace Theater in Albany NY where I have arranged for a one time screening of the very cool movie Serenity as a fundraising event for Equality Now on June 23rd.
No. Kidding.
(Take a 360 tour. The building is just beautiful!)
And do you know how I was able to accomplish this? Because Twich ROCKS!
I am so freaking happy, I don’t even mind being here at work.

Firefly quote of the day:
MAL: See how I'm not punching him? I think I've grown.

Much more productive than all the things I pictured you doing... we don't need to go into the more interesting ones... I think you can imagine what they were.

Great job!!! Twich is the woMAN, and so are you.

For the record, if you had bothered to tell me what it was you were trying to do when you were trying to do it I would've said I know you can do it. So, take that belated vote of confidence back in time and use it to relax.

Cheers.

Thanks stellar. Working on my time machine is the other thing I can't tell you all about. ;P

Now, stop picturing me doing what ever it was you were picturing.

You're much more agreeable in my head.

Wow, Nypinta, you just went up several points on the Cool-O-Meter. You da woman!

That's it? That's the big surprise? You went out and got someone to show a movie that I'm told I love? I'm... I'm... *sigh*

Nice job P. Just goes to show that you can do anything you put your mind to, except of course getting my thoughts on Firefly/Serenity... ;)

Does this mean Twich will finally update her blog?

Good work!

Hey, speaking of Whedon-related stuff, did you notice the guy who played Gunn in Angel is in that new Dick Wolfe show on NBC?

Impressive stuff there. Next is transmogrification, I'm sure. The only thing I'm managed to do is put the Dark Angel disc in my DVD player.

That theatre is pretty cool, BTW.

Wow, that's a theatre to stage Phantom of the Opera in. I didn't think those kinds of theatres were still standing.

I'd love to be there, but my hitchhiking thumb doesn't work over long distances. Sigh.

Kudos to you and Twich. Now, get to work on the cast and crew.

So do I have to go to Albany now? I'm gonna get lost in Booneville again, I just now it.

I don't think it is possible to get lost going from that end of Mass to Albany. All the signs on the Mass Turnpike tell you how much farther you have till you get to Albany. I think Massachussettes loves us. Even if we can't spell your stupid states name.

Oh, and yes you have to come! And bring Mr Schprock and Maz! Or maybe not Maz... unless you want to put him in the trunk because it would be funny.

You'd be surprised.

HAHAHAHA! Did you honestly just say that to John? Shall we go count up how many of his posts have included him getting lost? If he heads to Albany, his blog may never be updated again.

I'm laughing with you, man. Promise.

Well, Michele would be driving, so I have every confidence that you both will arrive in a timely manner. Just as long as she makes you park the car so we all can witness first hand your special gifts in that regard.

Wow. That was pretty wordy, huh?

You going too KTM? After all... there is a chance that Nathan will show up and then you can report on just how big a pile of mush PinTA turns into.

I've learned the hard way that I'm can't under ANY circumstances trust John to find his skinny butt with both hands and a neon sign to point the way. I always tell him to shut up and let me find it without his "help". I find I have to take less ibuprofen that way.

Hahahaha... oh, I'm laughing "with" John too. Really...

And I will not turn into a big pile of mush. I will say incredibly stupid things at every single opportunity. Isn't that worth a plane ride to witness??
